Though I lost some storage in the console, the cup holder worked great.

I ended up getting this direct from the manufacturer. I used it to cover that compartment because I bought an intercom system from Rugged Radios that was meant to be fully hidden. I was worried that the the cups would rattle out with the kind of riding I do, but the 3M tape that comes on them held extremely well. I also had a concern that shifting might be an issue, but I was able to shift without problems with a small adjustment to how I held the shifter to make sure I didn't jam my finger on the cup holder. It looks great, is functional and was still comfortable shifting my 2016 YXZ 3-pedal.
