This sling is a perfect best-value option for a reproduction WW2 Arisaka Type 99 rifle. I'd buy another if needed.

Sturdy sling, looks good on my rifle (Type 99, Series 24). Only one problem; it's quite long. It will not cinch up snug against the rifle stock military fashion for storage. Oh well, way better than the Hong Kong refashioned Mosin-Nagant slings claiming to be 'original."

I ordered this for a Type 99 made in 1945 at the Toyo-Kogyo plant in Hiroshima, taken from Okinawa. Overall, well made. Unfortunately, its poorly designed. The pictures I have seen of originals they fit snugly against the side of the rifle when cinched up half way, well I have this all the way cinched up and its still loose. The clasps on each end are also very loosely fitted and simply fall off the sling loops. Only reason its not 1 star rating, its well made and looks the part and hardly cost anything.

Nice rifle sling for my Arisaka Type 99; rifle. Well made. The only con is the length - it is a bit long and does not fit snug against the rifle. A big plus for me was the shipping time. From New Deli, India it took only three days to get to my residence.
