Take it slow and don’t bite off more than it can chew and you’ll be fine. As long as you empty it often and change the batteries when they get weak, and make little circles that slowly overlap with new area, taking your time, and not going fast, either with the actual motion or too fast covering new area. It’s all about never feeding it more than the teeny motor can power through, which isn’t much. But as long as you take your time this little bugger will eat up all the fuzz from item after item after item, long after other folks have quickly burned theirs out. It’s truly a case of the tortoise and the hare. The tortoise wins the race with this little bugger.

It didn't damage my Marino wool sweaters, which are quite delicate. But for a blanket is get a larger shaver. They make shavers for blankets and larger items.
