Good quality, easy install, but...
Five stars for being exactly what it says it is. This fit my chair perfectly and was easy to install per the simple directions that came with it. The chair looks better now and best of all it no longer drops pieces of deteriorating seat foam all over my floor.BUT! If you check online reviews of the Aeron you'll find that one of the biggest complaints about this chair is that for a lot of people it cuts into the back of their thighs and causes pain. Some people experience this, others don't. If you (like me) are one of the people that do experience this annoying pain from the Aeron don't think that installing a new piece of foam is going to help. It doesn't. At all. In fact it may even make it a tiny bit worse because it raises that front edge more than the old flattened falling apart cushion did. The only way I've found to get rid of that annoying pain on the back of my legs is to lower the chair quite a bit more than I do other office chairs so that there is a gap between the front edge of the seat and the back of my leg. Anyway, all of that is the chair's fault - not this product's fault, so still five stars for this easy $10 replacement.

Herman Miller Aeron Medium - perfect fit!
After 20 years of use my Herman Miller Aeron was beginning to be a bit ragged around the edges. The wear parts were, well... getting worn. I recently replaced the hydraulic cylinder which fixed a slight wobble problem. This week I replaced the foam pad at the front of the seat pad which supports the backs of your legs. The OEM original was breaking down and shedding bits if foam.I purchased this replacement and it is firmer (a good thing) returning the like new comfort.I would recommend this replacement pad for anyone who is looking to return thier Herman Miller Aeron to like new comfort. I would buy this foam pad again.

I didn't even need the adhesive strip and it worked!
Removing the previous foam/crumbled powder insert took the longest, but the alcohol wipes included in the package worked surprisingly well, compared to my own paper towel+isopropyl alcohol combo, most probably due to the texture of the wipe that was effective at removing old glue. After old goo was gone, I let it air dry and stuffed this insert replacement. After reading several reviews at how it's not possible to get it right on first attempt (hence do not remove adhesive strip when you first put it in), I decided I will stuff it in place first and see what happens. Well, turns out this was a good call. After it went in place I was pretty satisfied with how tight it fits in the position and how well it supports me when I sit on it, that I didn't bother with adhesives. Still works great!

Almost perfect replacement for the Aeron
Great replacement for the Herman Miller's OEM seat foam insert for the Aeron chair. Perfect fit, and easy to install. Only wish it was just a bit easier to remove, or the adhesive was black; given that it's white, a spill will stick to it and is difficult to clean.

Great replacement. Remove the tape after installing it
The seat foam in my size B Classic Aeron at my home office deteriorated badly, but I didn't mind it that much given that I spent about an hour or so sitting on that chair. Now that I'm glued to the home office chair due to our new normal (WFH), I wanted to increase my comfort with a new seat foam insert. This item fits the bill well. Reasonably priced and seems to be well-made (we'll see about durability). Getting it positioned was not an issue, and I thought about leaving it like that without removing the tape. Then, I decided against it, but didn't want to remove the foam again. If you stick your finger from one side and remove the paper over the tape, you'll be able to pull it all the way from one side to the other. Then, just sit on it as usual, and you're good to go!

Super easy and a big improvement
I bought this to replace a deteriorating pad in a refurbished Aeron chair. This was very easy to install, and the chair is so much more confortable now, like brand new. I did not have any trouble removing the backing on the adhesive strip, and there is no need to disassemble the webbing. Just pull the old one out, clean off the old ahesive and push the new cushion in. The cleaning wipes that came with the new cushion were actually meant for personal cleaning, with soap and not alcohol, so they didn't do much good to remove the old adhesive. I used my own rubbing alcohol to clean it up.

Too firm, not as soft as original
I bought two different Aeron seat foam pads. This one is certainly a thick, high density pad, but it's much firmer and slightly thicker than the original HM Aeron foam pad. It's more of a glossy, closed-cell foam and created an uncomfortable ridge under my thighs. The other pad that I bought is softer and much closer to the original HM Aeron foam pad, and works much better for me. This one will probably last longer, but the original lasted for 20 years, so i'm pretty sure the softer pad will last as long.

Great, but hard to install
The instructions say to force the cushion in there without removing the pellicle web because re-installing the web is quite difficult. I removed the webbing and even though it's hard to put back together you get a better final product. You can get everything cleaner, remove the old adhesive, get the cushion exactly in the right spot. The trick to the adhesive is to put the cushion place, hold half of it in place while removing the backing from the other half. Once the that half is firmly adhered, then remove the rest of the backing and carefully lower the second halfIf you do remove the pellicle from the seat pan, prepare to have two people available to put it back together. Or use clamps. It has to be stretched side to side with a fair amount of force and held in place while the screws are fastened.
