Q: Are thes magnets suitable for misti stamping platforms?

I have no knowledge of Misti - but basically they are powerful magnets suitable for holding items in place on any magnetic material.

Q: What is the axis of the magnetic field, is it North pole on one flat (say top) and South on the bottom or is the field north-south across the disk?

Its north on top and south on the bottom.thats why they stick together in a row.

Q: Do these magnets rust if exposed to outdoor use? I'm wondering if corrosion would stain other surfaces while holding a cover to a van bonnet?

I think they may do as I used for holding down frost covering on car windscreen as and when frost forecast and did see signs on one of tarnishing. May also want to check with seller. As a magnet they are 5* Rgds George
