Q: Will an A4 paper pad fit in this?

An a4 pad should fit in this but at a squeeze I would check the dimensions of the a4 pad and the internal size of the box which is (LxWxH) 32cm x 22.9cm x 7cm hope this helps

It doesn't have a lock. It's just a brass catch
