Because of how well these light risers are built I would have left a 5 star but I’m only leaving a 4 star as the shipping took an extremely long time and at the time of ordering I ordered 3 but only received 2 so I’m still waiting for my third one - Hygger is a common name so I don’t know why they take so long to send - Other than still waiting for the third light riser I must say these are awesome quality and what I like most is they fit the frame of my 125 gallon tank and that’s hard to find things that fit this frame - these will fit a frame up to 1.7 inches thick and are high enough not only can I open my lids for a water change but without a hassle - They evenly distribute the light much better than just the lights sitting on top - Thank You Hygger for such a great quantity as the same for anything I ever ordered by your brand but can you please rush my third light riser I ordered - I’ve been waiting for a long time - Once I receive my 3rd riser I will change my star to a 5 star because of the quality

I bought this product because I had a hygger light that worked very well. Judging from the way this product look, it is what I typically look for to buy: good materials, adjustable for different situations, and simple. I can't say that it didn't meet my expectations. However, I remember reading a review that said the reviewer cracked their tank with it. I had that thought when I bought it, and said, "well, I guess they just weren't careful.". Well, I was using the included tool, did not feel like I was using very much force, and I cracked my tank. I had to rush out, buy a new tank and materials, and redo my tank. My sister had to come and help me.When you understand what you are doing with this product, it works well. However, I reviewed the instruction manual and there is no warning whatsoever that you specifically can crack your tank by not being careful. I'm not being facetious. There is not a single warning in the instruction manual that you can crack your tank. If you are a careful person, feel free to buy this product. It's decent. But if you're not extremely careful when you are installing it, you can crack your tank.

This does what I wanted. I have a rimmed tank.I gave only 4 stars because the light even when tightened on the sides is loose.I had to get a piece of foam to put on the top of the light to keep it from sliding out.

There is a lot of adjustability with this light bar, which is great. I needed it to hold a larger light than I had with my current tank, and it meets my needs nicely. It can be augmented to fit the height of the aquarium by switching around the two metal braces/arms which was very helpful for me. The metal holders and braces are well made, and feel sturdy. It's fairly lightweight just in case there are hefty lights that need to be held.

Barely serviceable, but not really many other options. Poorly designed and doesn't fit together well. But it is a niche product so I kept it.
