Vigorous in aquaponics, loved by the cats.
This stuff is wonderful! I have about a quarter of my aquaponics dedicated to this and it grows INCREDIBLY fast. Sprouts in about three days and grows well over 6" pretty quick. We are on our second rotation in the system, barely a third of way through this bag and everything grows well.Pet people - I chose this kind because works for human smoothies and for indoor cats during winter. The cats love it and have stopped chewing on any other house plants. Ironically, the little dog has also decided that she really really needs some grass as well and will often beg for me to get her some. (She is weird though and thinks carrots are greatest treat ever.)I will be dedicating more space to this in future, so that we can use it in more smoothies. The only con was the shipping. This plastic bag just in a big ol cardboard box with other stuff and it got beat up. Had a hole in bag, but only lost a few dozen seeds into the box.

Great product, not hard to grow!
Ok no green thumb here. I did as another reviewer suggested doing. I soaked the seeds(about 1/2 bag), drained and let sit for 8 hours and repeated one more time. I planted in organic soil in a kitty box(this is for my kitty so no pesticides), and kept it indoors with no directed sun for 2 days. I spray bottled the soil 2x's a day to keep moist but not soaked. The picture attached is after 2 days inside and 3 days outside(still not in direct sun). Just moved to sunny area for the kitty. I will update review after a couple days in the sun and how my cat liked it. Kitty totally loves his grass. I have actually had to cut it twice.

Very easy to grow
I use these in sprouter trays for our salads and the chickens. Total time is about 7 days from start to finish. I soak them overnight, drain then put them on the tray then spritz with water twice a day, I keep them covered with a towel for the first 2-3 days then move them in front of the window where they get filtered light until done. Have used these twice now and am very happy with them.

Grew after being stored.
Did this twice. Been growing cat grass for our cats for years. This is the worst yield we’ve had.Update- returned the first bag and was sent a new one. Yield on this bag is extremely poor as you can see in the picture. I pretty much covered the bottom in seeds also. Very disappointed.Update 2. After several months I tried to grow these again because our cats are eating the houseplants. At least 90% of the seeds germinated and grew. Go figure, but I felt I needed to update the review.

Once I learned the trick to success, super easy
I'm not an indoor plant person at all, I once managed to kill 3 cactus'. I've stuck to the couple things I can garden outside. I let my cat out in my yard a couple times a day. I feel bad for him in the winter because there's no grass for him to play on/with. I got sick of paying $8 everytime I went to the pet store for grass so I gave this a try.My only minor complaint is there's no directions. For most of you green thumbers, that's probably not a problem. For me I learn the hard wayMy first batch I just put the seeds in my pan and covered them with dirt. Two days later I didn't see any growth. So I asked Mr Google for advice and he told meRinse seeds in a strainer with cold waterThen put seeds in a bowl or mason jar for 8 hoursRinse and repeat (twice)Now your seeds are ready to plantThat being said I attached a few pictures the longer grass is 17 days growth this is the first batch I buried plain seeds I then added some soaked seeds. They grew they just took longerI also attached a pic of a pan I planted 6 days ago using only the rinse and repeat seeds. These grew so much quickerAnother pic is Mr Earl chomping down all my hard work.I still have 40% of my seeds left even after my trial and error. A new bag of seeds is in my cart as we speak. I'm going to try making myself a wheatgrass shot next.Earl review (cat perspective)Dear Amazon,You can let her buy this again.... Please tell her there's no need to show me the dirt OR tell me about the growth everyday.... I just want it when it's ready to eatLoveEarlI made a batch for my friends car after she laughed at me. She sent me pics of her cat laying in the grass, I had to add the pic

Seeds do not grow, whatever does germinate is ignored by my cats
I have purchased this item by the same company 3 times. First 2 times, seeds have grown quickly and easily. I have been growing grass for my cats for over 10 years. I used oat grass prior to my Magic grass purchases. This order, I did not use right away, (otherwise, I would have asked for a refund). Upon receipt of the package, I put the sealed package inside another plastic bag (just to keep fresh until used). Less than a month after the package received, I tried to grow seeds and they did not germinate. I tried twice after that, once, I got some growth but nothing compared to what I have experienced in the past (from Magic Seeds and other sources). Plus, what did grow was not appetizing to my 2 cats and neither ate any. Normally, they eat the grass off and on all day long. The quality of the seeds is terrible, in my experience. I bought new soil and used new containers, but, they still didn't grow. I bought some seeds locally, and they grew beautifully. However, they were expensive and Amazon has better prices. I am off to find another vendor to purchase from.

Bugs in the bag, but the seeds are easy to grow
Upon receiving the seeds I noticed rhinoceros beetles crawling around in the bottom of the bag. I planted them a day ago and Most of them germinated with the help of a heating mat. If you hate bugs this isn’t for you, but if you’re willing to kill them then it’s worth the money .
