Purchased this little chunk of uranium for my daughter. Opened it, and suddenly she started levitating. Realizing she had been given super powers, she promptly flew out of the door and, 5 minutes later, returned with some great Ramen from a restaurant in Japan. Quite impressive, delivering Ramen from Kyoto to Wisconsin in 5 minutes. Great product!

I was looking forward to a spicy rock I could use to test my radiation detectors. What I got was a huge letdown. This item only produced about 0.20 micro-sieverts/hour radiation. For comparison, the normal background radiation in my area is about 0.08 micro-sieverts/hour. The radiation is barely even detectable. It wasn’t nearly enough to set off my Nukalert (the minimum threshold is 1000 micro-sieverts/hour. I am giving this 2 stars because at least I was able to confirm that my “GQ GMC-300E Plus” radiation detector is working. Also, I’m pretty sure this isn’t even made of real rock, it looks like it’s made of some kind of resin or epoxy, with some tiny chunks of rocks inside. This isn’t at all what I was expecting. But maybe I just misunderstood what this product was intended for…

It's uranium. Probably shouldn't sleep next to it.
