From the 1980's family history recovered
It works as advertised. Great way to get old tech into modern medium. I am using to feed old video recordings into modern equipment and cloud storage.

Do not waste your money on this product.
I recently purchased an S Video RCA to HDMI Converter. I do not recommend you buy this product. I followed the directions, but it did not work. Getting the plugs in the hole was tough, and they would not make a good connection. Does not work

Easy installation & works very well
We have an older dvd player and had lost the cords in a move. This converter was easy to install. Did exactly what it was supposed to do. The picture was as crisp as it could be with the age of the dvd we used and the age of the player itself. I like that it was a full kit for one price to install our player vs buying all of the pieces separately except the usb plug in part. Thankfully I had an extra.

Works OK for vintage computers to a modern monitor. From RCA to HDMI not the other way.
I use this with old computers from the '70s. and '80s to use an HDMI monitor. It does not work in both directions, which I was aware of. It just works. It is easy to use and lets you hook up an old video game or VCR or whatever to a modern TV or monitor. The price is very reasonable. The picture has vertical banding for me on all my systems until I got a cable that added a resistor, which only helped some. This is apparently common to video converters. I am not sure anything can be done. It didn't look that great, but it's usable.
