This thing exceeds my expectations in every way. I did a test, and this puppy pumps avg 1.75 liters PER HOUR into the air.I just bought a 2nd one.......It also has a remote...it is high capacity (6l version, which last 14 hours) and it is extremely very quiet. About the same as desktop computer. Also, I accidentally got the base wet and it didn't work, so i let it dry for 1 day, plugged in, and it works normal. So I think it is well built, maybe waterproof a little.... the instructions are not very good. I had to experiment. One of the buttons on the remote says a very cute " Key to sleep" which I find out means it turns off the readout, so it is not lit up, and in that mode it also turns off in 8 hours....But it is very cute..."Key to sleep".... maybe only Asia can misinterpret something so wonderfully calming. It should say " Sleep Mode". But I hope they don't change it. I love "Key to sleep" much better.Anyway...this bugger is a serious mist pump. And It pumps out 2x when you take the top off.For the money...this thing is worth twice the price. It holds more, produces more mist, and I even screwed up, got the electronics wet...but the bugger still came back to life and is working just great.I needed a high capacity, cheap, humidifier...and this has not disappointed me. Its a serious mist pumper.I could not be more pleased. Except 1 thing.. I never found a way to convert it from Centigrade to Fahrenheit...on the front screen. But us Americans are slowly drifting tht way, I figure. This is just one more thing that helps us into the 21st century...we need to get up to meter and km too...in about 20 years, it'll happen...do you know ? ...this Dam thing even came with a remote! I didn't expect it...but I found it comes in handy when I want to change the fan rate/ humidifying rate... I'm sickly with stage 4 cancer, you see...aut at this price......I have a 13x 18 room. and I bought a 2nd one. I'm sure it's overkill tho...because I have a hot gas furnace pumping in too...it has a humidity of 3. But at this price...With a remote...lordy. How can they stay in business?.. I cleaned it out. It was easy. You just take the tank part of the base. It self-seals. You dump it in a sink, swish a rag around it, and you let it dry a bit. Now the base also has a tank, so you have to clean that too. Just unplug...wipe with a wash cloth, and it's good to go. I do that about 1x per week...Also, I use straight tap water. Nothing filtered or fancy. It is too early to tell if this wee little pixie likes that mistreatment, but at $35...I'll just buy another if it has a problem with me... I am 8 stars about this product. Over the moon about it.If you need 1.75 litres of water in your room...per hour...this little kipper will do its best fer ya.Oh, it also has a setting for humidity level. I'm na sure what it does if it gets to it tho. But it goes up to 95%.Thank you. It has given me much relief. Worked great but after a few days it started leaking all over my nightstand as I was filling it up. Got a replacement and the exact same thing happened when I left to work so I came home to water everywhere. I read the instructions thoroughly and saw the warning about the leaking water so I followed the directions to the letter. Would be a great product if it didn’t leak but obviously that’s a huge issue.

My old humidifier died after 10 years so I decided to give this one a try, and I'm sure glad I did. This is one very nice unit - no filters to buy, it is almost silent in operation, it has a huge tank, it's easy to tell when it needs water, it shuts off if it runs out of water, it not only tells you what the humidity in the room is, but also the temperature and the status of the several options you have chosen. If you are looking for a humidifier, check this one out - you'll thank me.

Very Nice

This humidifier works well and is priced fairly. It is smaller than expected but helps a lot with dry skin. It also makes it easier to sleep by keeping the throat from getting dry. It can run for more than a day, so it can stay on all the time. The black color is also very nice.

Loved it until it stopped working a month ago, water I guess got in behind the screen and the buttons don't work so it will shut off or off by itself, raise and lower intensity by itself. Noise level is quiet, and it's easy to take apart, I just think the only downside is maybe not reinforced well enough behind the screen/panel.

I like that it shuts off by itself when it's empty but I dislike that it leaves water all over the stand that it's on from the Mist it doesn't blow up very far in the air. It also says it does a large room in my room's not very big and I don't feel the moisture when I wake up in the morning it's so dry. My husband also dislikes the light on it because it's bright

Junk setting the humidity level a joke. Got in a 30 inch by 60 inch by 80 inch area and keeps shutting off at 40% even when set on 90%. Got a one star because it won't let me do 0 stars
