This little gadget is PERFECT for creating the magic loop! I'm a longtime crocheter but couldn't figure out how to make the magic loop used in so many of the cute toy patterns available now. A friend suggested I try this tool and I love it. Highly recommend!

I recently purchased the Crochetobe due to increased pain to my left pointer finger from maintaining it in an extended position. I tried the device but noted with tension on the yarn it would pull the outrigger forward making it difficult to crochet. So I took my neoprene frap strap, I am a physical therapist, and secured it to the device and it seems to be working much better and stays in position better. Hopefully this will do the trick.

After getting used to it, I love it. Pay attention to the tension and keep your yarn to the left side. Then it works great!

I saw someone asking about this on one of the crocheting Facebook pages. It had me completely intrigued. It is very strong and sturdy. It also seems very simple to use. With that in mind, if you crochet on a regular bases this will be difficulty to change everything about your crocheting habit. I am use to wrapping the yarn around my pinky; we all have our own way of wrapping it around our hands for tension. If you think your technique is close to what the picture shows then it will definitely work for you. It just isn’t working for me and got me very frustrated. Now, if you are just learning how to crochet and do not have your own habits yet, this product would do wonders. My hand definitely did not hurt as it always does. Sadly, it has slowed me down tremendously and frustrated me so I am probably going to have to returns this. I wish the person who had this genius idea the best of luck with this product.

This has been a game changer for me. I have wanted to crochet forever, but I have always struggled with tension to the point that I quit. With this tool, I can keep going!!

Not for experienced crocheters.Might work for someone learning to crochet. I was hoping for something to help with arthritic hands. Very hard to use

I Love, Love, Love this tool. I had to have it, even though they only offer a right handed version. I crochet left handed, but I do some things (knitting, playing guitar, using scissors) right handed. I decided if I couldn't get it to work left handed I would learn to crochet right handed. But... I'm making it work... left handed. I hope they will offer a left handed version, if they do, I'll buy that too. I haven't been able to figure out how to contact them to ask if they plan to introduce a left handed version; but I hope they will. btw, I am not a beginner, I have been crocheting for decades
