If you are talking about weight for a person sitting in the chair i believe it is up to 300 pounds. I had purchased this chair for my teen age son that is 6'3" and weighs over 260 pounds. (yes he is a big guy) i bought this chair after going through three other chairs in less than 2 years with him. THIS CHAIR IS AWESOME, BEST INVESTMENT EVER!! We have had it well over a year now and it has held up very nicely. He's also a video gamer and wanted a chair he can lean back in without breaking and this chair has that feature. I've had this chair in daily use for over a year now and it still looks and feels brand new. I think it's good for the long-term and recently bough another of the same chair for my wife's desk.

I returned this chair. Didn't like the seat. To deep. Also not comfortable. Bought tempurepedic 4000 model. Like it better.
