Easily Installed
I had a SATA slot decide to die so I got this card as a replacement slot. Following some of the reviews on this and other cards, I plugged it into an x16 slot because it's allegedly faster than the smaller slot. Worked right away when I turned on the computer and fast speeds just like a normal SATA connection. I will update this review if anything wonky happens later but so far so good!

Good Value.
I have this plugged in to a Z170 motherboard and it seems to work fine. At first my PC thought the drives were removable, but once I discovered the switch to turn off the bootable mode the drives showed up properly. The card runs cool even during extended writes. The only small disappointment I found is that this card is only PCIe 2.0, but what do you want for less that $10. It's only been 1 day so far, If the has any issues I will update this review.

Works well
I had to recant my original review. I was to use this with a hot swap-able internal docking station, which I've had for about 10 years. Turns out all my problems and original poor review was because that docking station could not handle the the higher speed of this card. When a drive is connected directly to it, things work great. I have ordered a new SATA 3 internal docking station & I expect all to work splendidly.

Worked as expected!
Installed this SATA Controller to add 2 SATA ports for my BLU-RAY Recorder along with a DVD-RW Recorder and it worked perfectly. As far as I can tell it works well and is very fast recording. No Extra Bios functions or changes needed. I connected the Controller card and booted into Window 11 and waited for the device to be discovered and configured in the device manager. Once the Controller was identified I powered off the PC and connected the 2 SATA ROM Drives and rebooted. The ROM Drives can be accessed and have now been used to store and write data to DVDs and BLU-Ray Discs. I can also access software that I have available on Discs. The ELUTENG PCIE SATA Expansion Card Works flawlessly on an ASUS PRIME Z790-V WIFI INTEL LGA1700 mainboard with no compatibility issues to report under Windows 11.

Windows 10 - no drivers needed, plug and play.
One of the SATA connectors on my Mobo broke and I needed a way to connect the drive. This worked out perfectly. Card is recognized at boot and I've had zero issues - been using it for several weeks.
