V101G1/W: Great wall arm!
I wasn't sure that the table I currently use as a work desk was suitable for use with the more common desk-mounted arms, and since I have a concrete wall and am skilled with tools, I decided that a wall mount would be a better choice for me.I did research the available options form several brands. I found that while there were several cheaper products, many of them looked the same, and were of unknown , unsupported brands, and had not enough users opinions on the web. There were some with at least a web site, but that didn't even have installation instructions. All of them were discarded from my choices. Some competing products were maybe good enough, but the installation process was too complicated or even risky for my monitors and would requiere at least two people to do. FInally, most of them are black, with a bulky unsightly appearance. In the end, I choosed this Vivo product which checked the right boxes: Known supported brand, with good comments on web forums. The web site is easy to navigate, provides all types of information, specifications, manuals, photos and videos. Installation to the wall was effortless, mounting the monitor to the arm so well thought and easy that me alone could do it without any help. The arm is white and sleek so is not a sore to the eyes (which I love). And while the price is not the lowest, is much better than the top of the line offerings, and well worth it in my opinion. All the load bearing pieces are metal and sturdy, with a great white paint finish. Some other ornamental pieces (like the cable organizers) are white plastic. The product came with real, printed instructions, with both clear text and graphics (Not the type with only images that are supposed to be understandable to anyone in any language, and that usually are confusing and useless). The web site also has those instructions as well as instructional videos, which is very handy.I actually bought two arms, to have my work laptop in the middle and two monitors on each side. Strangely enough, one arm came with instructions dated August 31 2023, while the second came with instructions dated August 21 2024. The older ones are missing a very important step regarding the Tilt Joint that could damage some monitors, so be sure to use the latest instructions. They can also be downloaded from Vivo web site. Be sure to use the latest ones!Even though the instructions were clear on HOW to mount the arm, there were no suggestions on WHERE to mount it. I do know that there are many use cases that might make impossible to have just a single document to cover them all. But I believe some common uses would be easy to document. I had to fiddle with the un-mounted arm for several minutes until I settled on a height and offset for the mounting base. Fortunately it worked! (There is a problem with the lack of instructions of most of the arms I researched, excpept for the leading one which do provide some ergonomic suggestions. I suggest you check those out as an aid for the installation of this arm).So far the product is performing as intended, but it's been only a few days. If anything arises I will update this review.

Keeps my ultra-wide portable while working out
I picked up this heavy duty wall mount arm after adding a walking pad under my desk and it’s been a total quality of life upgrade. Installation was pretty straightforward (stud finder, three lag screws, done), and it goes up and down like a knife through butter. One gentle nudge and my 44 inch ultrawide glides up to treadmill height then drops back down for seated work without any sag or wobble. The arm clears the back edge of the desk so I can still tilt and swivel to nail that sweetspot viewing angle when I sneak in a quick Call of Dutry match mid workout. Cable management is decent too. The built in clips corral my HDMI and power cords so nothing dangles into treadmill territory. My only mistake was forgetting to tighten the tilt knob the first day, the screen drooped a bit but a half turn fixed it for good.

49" Samsung Odyssey G9 - Works perfectly
I've owned some really expensive arms in the past and this unit has similar build quality but the design is actually better. I love how sturdy the mounting plate assembly is and it was very easy to install, with great instructions. Once you set the tensions correctly per the instructions you're able to set the position precisly and it stays in place. I also love that it goes pretty flat against the wall if you need to get it out of the way temporarily. Of course this needs to be in studs, can't imagine why they even bother with the drywall screws.

Sturdy with smooth action for new Apple Studio Display
Worked great with new Apple Studio Display with the vesa mount, no sagging, smooth movement, solid heavy weight to it and looks good in white. Mounted to studs of window frame. Like others, I did not use the included hardware, very light and cheap looking aluminum alloy bolts of some sort with no grade or other markings, very cheap compared to good stainless Lowe’s lag bolts. Other reviews mentioned broken bolts when used and I’d believe it, better to not include them or charge a bit more for more substantial hardware. Get yourself better grade hardware/lag bolts somewhere else, which is why only 4 stars, but still recommended.

works great
this is some seriously beefy stand. youre gonna want some really good wall locks if youre going into dry wall but id suggest aiming straight for the stud. hold the monitor up awesome and the gas springs really do a great job keeping things in place. I do with it had a little bit more tilt but thats minor.
