Black Military Flip Top Buckle 1.25 Width Hypoallergenic

I planned out a gift for a friend with a nickel allergy, but all the belts I found that matched her style were NOT allergen friendly. I replaced the original buckle with this, and it worked perfectly. Even if you buy a belt that already has a buckle, it's easy to swap this out for the original flip-top buckle. No signs of rash, easy to add on, and easy to open while still sturdy enough to not open on its own. I highly recommend this!

First off, when I unpacked it I thought it had fallen apart in my hands. I quickly realized that was because there was an extra clasp included; the buckle itself was in perfect condition.I would say this is on the lightweight side but it does work as advertised. Recommended.

Buckle does not fit 1.5 inch web belt. Can’t get the metal end of the belt to go in.

Paint is still in tact and i am rather rough with the belt, sometimes throwing it onto tile, and i have stepped on it a few times. In short if it can take my abuse it will serve a "normal" person for many years. If your looking for a durable belt buckle I feel 100% guilt free recommending this buckle, and believe me i am a very picky person when it comes to quality.

It wasn't very clearly marked and I ended up buying the wrong product otherwise great price

I have quite a few web belts that came with the roller style military clasp. All of them started slipping after awhile. So far, this one, does not. My only concern is the tab mechanism to hold the halves together. Its just a little metal dimple, which, to me, would wear out pretty fast. We shall see as I've only worn the buckle for 3 days. It is a quiet buckle, without all the metal clanging heard with the roller style.

Goes well with all the web belts of this width.
