This belt is just as good as the OEM belt. Only time will tell how long it lasts. The original belt on my unit lasted about 16 Years under multiple everyday use. This belt was a straightforward install without any issues. Very pleased.

Product was delivered quickly and it was an easy install. Worked great and my garage door is fully functional again.Replaced the existing belt because it was in shreds and only the wires were holding it together. Refer to pictures of before.

Good info up front to insure correct size and fit. This is not a difficult project but you need the right tools and fairly strong reach. The product appears well made and has performed very well so far. This belt was installed on my lift master garage door opener on a 7’ door.

Had to swap out the end pieces with the original chain, but went on fairly easily and was a perfect fit.

The belt fits my garage door opener like a T. The installation was slightly tricky due to the expanded spring but not difficult. So far everything works well. How long will this belt last? Ask me this question in a few more years. Best thing, you do the job yourself, you have the best workmanship and save. Trust me, the last few times I called the service company, each time they cost me an arm and a leg.

I purchased this for my chamberlain whisper, Dr. garage door opener with a 7 foot tall garage door. My opener is model number 4185483–4B.This was an exact fit to the existing one, and it went on without too much trouble. I think what would’ve been helpful would be to know that you should have your garage door opener set to the all the way open position, then release the garage door and lower it to do the install, leaving the Little shuttle piece back close to the motor.I got a lightning deal and it was 30 some dollars. It was the cheapest option on Amazon that day. I reused the chain link and hook from the original, but it looks like what they included would’ve worked well for mine also.I would just make sure that you get the right belt number for your garage door opener model, but I don’t think there are a lot of different options to be honest. Apparently the number of teeth/inch on the belt can vary. And the belt is longer for openers designed for 8 or 10 foot garage door height.Overall, it took me maybe half an hour, but that was because of a little trial and error with the position of the shuttle piece that moves along the rail of the opener.Unfortunately, your mileage may vary when it comes to YouTube videos, and the people who author them. No documentation of any sort came with this belt, so you’ll have to gather information elsewhere on how to install.
