Q: I don’t expect complete leak proof if I drop it or put it in its side, dut will it leak if properly closed when I’m drinking from it with the lid on?

It doesn’t leak while you’re drinking, but it absolutely will leak if it tips or falls over - and it will leak a lot.

Q: Love the tumbler, lids are garbage. Has anyone found another lid that fits & is more spillproof than the Hydroflask supplied straw lid & slide lid?

I have not had any spilling and my lid fits great. I have only ever hand washed. Has your lid always leaked? Do you wash in the dishwasher?
