Exelente

Best value out there.
I have always wanted a router insert at the end of my table saw, and this plate was the one to make that happen. I also wanted a plate large enough that I could lift it out the top with my 2 hp router attached without fiddling around. First I looked at aluminum plates, but anything that met my size requirements would break the bank. After reading a bunch of reviews, I settled on the Rousseau plate because of what I read about their customer service and warranty. Once I had the table installed, installing the insert was a matter of a couple of hours of careful work (measure twice, cut once). The insert is absolutely solid, and has helped me through a few projects already.I used a flush trim bit to cut the hole, so I just fastened the 4 template pieces against the insert, with a strip of painter tape on the inside to provide a bit of clearance. Once the template was done. I packed the inside with some 3/8 strips, and cut the inside hole. Then I removed the packing, & the tape, and cut the rabet. The insert dropped in like a Summer's breeze.A word of caution. if you are installing the levelling system in an MDF or other fiber table, the threaded inserts tend to crumble the board. I recommend drilling the holes a bit oversize, and as close to the outside as possible. Also, set the table on a flat surface to reduce tearout underneath. After re-drilling a couple of holes, the system worked fine, as did the corner bumpers..All in all, a great value that's going to last a long time.

Could have been good..
I was aware this particular insert plate had a crown and wasn't going to be flat when I placed an order, which I could have worked with but not a twist. Two corners diagonal from each other touching the table top, the other two ~1.5 - 2mm floating in the air, so I sent it back.

No Brad Point Bits Allowed
I'm nearly sick about this. I believe this is a perfect base plate for the money. I was/am meticulous in inlaying this into my new 72" work bench top. My shop and my time are about a nice product. I messed up bad. While installing my newly purchased Bosch router I came close to ruining this plate. Wanting to correctly position the hole for the above plate height adjustment I used a brad point bit from the back side and BAM!!! blew out a huge chunk of the front of the base plate. The plate is still useable but looks terrible...I'm not sure I can live with my mistake. Please do not make the same move. Use a new twist drill and follow all directions to include using a drill press. I drill the remaining holes with a new twist bit without problems. This is a solid plate and the face is very glossy.I wrote a letter to Rousseau asking them to amend the instructions regarding brad point tip drill bits. Thanking me for the recommendation, they wrote me back within an hour giving me a phone number to call. I spoke to the author of the email and he offered to sell me a plate only for $16.00 and is getting it into the mail tomorrow. How's that for good old USA customer service. Thanks Dale... :)

Great quality
Great router plate. Nice and solid. Lifetime warranty and guaranteed not to sag.Comes with a bunch of different bolts and leveling hardware so you have multiple ways to drop this into a table and level it. Dimensions are very simple for cutting out hole. I used a 1/2” flush trim bit that I had to cut the rabbit and usd a jigsaw to remove the rest of the material inside of the rabbit. I set my router depth to 1/4” as the outside of the plate is 1/4” and sits atop the rabbit you cut. You can cut Lower than 1/4” if you want and then use the levelling hardware to bring it up. I chose to router mine so I could have it sit flush and not have to use the leveling hardware. Worked out great for me.2 big bonuses with this router plate are the fence alignment marks so you can get the fence Lined up accurately if you have a homemade or aftermarket fence. In addition to this it has a bunch of grooves on the bottom of the plate for the router placement that ensures you have your router sitting dead center.I’ve seen people complain about how it doesn’t sit flush or that the outside 1/2” of the plate is shorter than the rest of the plate or that you have to cut holes for your router. These people just don’t know what they’re doing and don’t know the purpose of the plate being designed like this. You won’t find a better plate for the $50-60 you spend. I think I paid $50ish on sale. Rousseau says if you get a bad plate you can return it and they will repair or replace as necessary so that’s good too. Amazon would probably take it as a return too if it had a defect. So really you can’t go wrong.
