Very clear, no static and a powerful mic. Recipients to not have to touch a button to speak.
Looks great and the screen is very modern. Intercoms look very dated, but this one will stay modern for a long time. We installed six of them in our home. The best features are that the recipient of the call does not have to press a button to speak and he can be heard from a room separate of where the intercom is. In other words, the intercom is very sensitive and very clear. The hands-free feature is the best. The only negative is that we have not been able to enable the call button for all the intercoms at once. Upon research, we do not think you can call all the intercoms at the same time, especially with the hands-free feature on the recipients end. That is a big negative for us. The only alternative is to call each number in order to find the person you are looking for. A group call would be best and time saving. While our home was wired for an intercom system, some places did not have the Cat 6 that was needed. You can still have this with a plug in to the outlet. That is good. But, it is not very good looking with the power cords coming from the wall. Obviously, the wall hung units look the best but must be prewired.
