Worked for my fur baby!
My 9 year old 100lb AmStaff Pitty started moving slowly. Slowly sitting, slowly getting up, slowly going up/down stairs, etc. It was breaking my heart. I know he’s getting up there in age but, I want him to be as comfortable as possible as he ages. I tried this and OMG it works! He’s mobility is looking a lot better! I only give him half a dose because it is a little pricy but, it still works amazingly. My mom started giving her 10yr old pocket pit it too and it worked on her as well. She’s an old girl but, now she has a pep in her step. Recommend to at least try it.

Good results!!
Definitely helped my senior dogs from what I could see. after they've taken them,it's chewable and had no problems getting them to take it.would Definitely recommend. Although I am NOT a vet,I am just saying from my experience and seeing the difference in my furbabies.

Quality product but many tabs didn't survive shipping.
Overall, this is a good, quality product. My only problem with it was that inside the bottle, there was no cotton or anything padding the tablets from rattling around during shipping, so when I opened it, found many to be in pieces (makes it hard to dose properly, and pile of powder on bottom of bottle is waste of money, since the tiny particles that used to be tablets now cannot be used). Hopefully this was an isolated issue, and no one else has to deal with it. If that issue were resolved, I would have given it all 5 stars. All natural (read the ingredients on most other dog supplements and it's amazing what unnecessary and unhealthy ingredients are added; this product has none of them, only active and all natural non-active ingredients.) Made in the USA, and has quality stamp by NASC.Active ingredients per tab: glucosamine 600 mg, chondroitin 400 mg, MSM 300 mg, hyaluronic acid 10 mg, Vit C 100 mg, Omega 3 100 mg, manganese 5 mg, antioxident and joint support blends (natural extracts: yucca, turmeric, boswellia, brewers yeast, spirulina, chorella, soy lecithin, bee pollen, rosemary, sea algae) 170 and 375 mg. Inactive ingredients: cellulose, lactose, natural flavor, stearic acid, silicon dioxide.A bit pricey, but much more reasonable on Amazon. This 90 quantity bottle won't last long for big dogs; the recommended dose for over 60 lbs is 4 tablets per day, which my vet agrees with (so for my 85 lb GSD, getting 4 tablets per day - 2 in AM and 2 in PM with meals, the bottle lasted just over 3 weeks - actually a bit less due to loss of product from the damage to tablets in the bottle.)My dog wouldn't eat these alone, but did eat them readily when put in his food, or you could always wrap them in cheese or something if your dog doesn't like the flavor.

Works great
My dog Raven (Black Lab, 4 years old) had ACL surgery in June of 2011, he did well but after 9 months he started limping again, not wanting to walk, not wanting to get up at all and he would limp heavily after even short walks. Back to the vet, more x-rays, diagnosis was that he had severe arthritis in that knee. The vet recommended a special food, couldn't do the food because of the ingredients (we don't feed by-products) and corn being the main ingredient along with wheat gluten etc (Raven has bad allergies). We looked for a supplement, tried something else first, then read about Vet's Best. I can highly recommend this supplement, it has done wonders for our Ravie, he's active and happy again. His brother Shadow (2 year old Lab mix) is also very happy because now he can play with Ravie again. Raven still has days where he limps slightly, but he doesn't need any more of the Rimadyl for pain or inflammation, the Vet's Best advanced formula is keeping him feeling good. He loves the taste of the Vet's Best and comes running when I tell him it's time for his pill:)I like the price of Vet's Best here on Amazon, best price around especially because Raven gets 3 pills a day, so one bottle last one month. I was ordering the supplement from another place first, but they always ended up arriving all powdery and broken, hard to give the right dosage if the pills are all fallen apart. I don't have that problem when ordering from Amazon. 5 Stars for Vet's best and Amazon:)

Changed our 10mo English Lab's life! Literally!
After months of Rx anti inflamitories, x-rays, & pushing a couple thousand dollars in vet bills we were at our end. Our young English Lab (under a year old & nearly 80lb) was in pain & limping constantly. It started when she was 6mos old & 68lb, no major injury had happened & we couldn't figure out what the cause was. Fast forward to 10 mos old & over 80lbs, the vet's best guess was a partial tear in her ACL. I trust that our vet did all he could but after the fourth round of monthly anti-inflamitories I told him we needed to try something new, this cannot be healthy for a growing dog. I started researching & found Vet's best Advanced Hip & Joint, it had exactly what I read about & I was able to purchase our first bottle at the local vitamin shoppe for much more than here on Amazon but we were desperate. She loved the taste & after two doses (two tablets in the AM & two tablets in the PM) she woke up the next day NOT LIMPING!!!!! This was a sight for sore eyes! She'd been in such pain & not walking normally for so long that I cried with relief, her relief. Finally! Now we have this on auto ship & will not go without it. I wish I'd had the sense to question just a little more & much sooner.

This caused issues for my dog
I started this with just giving my dog a quarter of a pill then a week later a half and so on. Gradually. He is now up to a pill but wont eat his food. He wont touch the stuff. I grind it and mix with water and give it to him through a dropper. Now i have to stop the product and see if he will eat his food again. Such a pain. I bought this because i trusted the brand and none of the reviews were too scary like other glucosamine products. But I guess with every product for dog or cats there are a lot of negative responses and everybody’s pets are different. But this is a no from me.
