Works great

For the price this works great. Has enough features for me with different flow modes and being able to sync multiple of them together. I do have to clean it about every 2-3 weeks or the flow will reduce. Extremely quiet unless you let it get really dirty. I don't know why you would ever get a big name brand powerhead when these are 1/5 of the cost and do just as well. Still works perfectly 4 months after opening. I use 2 of these on opposite corners on one of the lower speeds and it moves significant water across a 5 foot tank.Main downside is that the feed mode button also has a second function so I often end up switching a mode accidentally when trying to feed. But that is easily fixable by just pressing the button again. Also the guard pads cause more harm than help, they end up filling with junk faster than the rest of it and slow down the flow.

This wave maker has significantly improved the water circulation in my 120 gallon aquarium. It creates a more natural environment for my reef and helps keep the water oxygenated. The adjustable flow rate and external controller make it easy to customize. Highly recommend!”

Descent water movement, little louder than I had hoped. The changes in modes are really not that dramatic. If you gonna do it, get 2.UPDATE: I have been running this pump for about 3 weeks. The tank is extremely clean as it has only been set up for this period of time and has only been running during a fishless cycle (no fish, food or waste). Pump quit working. While trouble shooting the pump I was able to get it to come back on but would only run during constant flow setting. Anytime I changed the setting it would briefly operate and stop. Item is passed the return timeframe from Amazon so now I have to spend time getting this thing remedied. Not what I needed. I rolled a 7 on this one, beware.I have had this thing set up for about a year now, not reliable at all. hasn't operated half the time. After it sitting in the tank unoperational for about 3 months I decided to go ahead and get it in the trash, once out of the tank I decided to take it apart and see whats what, I found that it grinds inside itself to a stop. I busted out a sanding tool and sanded down the surfaces between the case and the propeller and it has kind of worked... It still stops running and I have to restart it. Hey, it made 3 days this time!! POS, don't do this thing.

I bought 2 and already one of them doesn't work. Good flow but I wouldn't buy another one.

The media could not be loaded. For a great price you get nice features and as of now it’s doing well. It’s very powerful. I have it in my 75 reef and is at its least powerful setting. The controller is pretty easy to get used to, just keep the manual nearby until you’ve used it for a while. Oh, and it quiet.

Overall this is a very good powerhead. Well made, easy to use, programmable. I have been using it for several months in my 100 gallon with no issues. I run it on low settings with some variability programmed in and it provides a very strong and consistent flow. I like the slip on filter that catches debris...
