Rich Dad Poor Dad for Teens: The Secrets about Money--That You Don't Learn in School!

I've become a fan of Mr Kiyosaki. Having put off reading his RDPD book for many years because I was put off by the title, I finally gave in a couple of weeks ago and read it in two sittings. I found the information so important I decided to get this for my daughter who so far has been uninspired by my other hero Dave Ramsey.When I buy a book, I tend to read the summary, the reviews, how many pages (is it likely to be in depth?) I don't recall ever looking at the dimensions! This book is 127 pages long. Nothing unusual there. It seems an ideal length for teens to grasp the basic principles. When it arrived my daughter shrieked "what's this?" It's about the size in terms of total volume as a bar of soap. That came as a bit of a surprise. Fast forward to the evening, and my daughter has read it and memorised it and is quoting parts to me and is showing an interest in our fledgling property "empire". Mission accomplished! She then requested to read the full version of RDPD.Very much a case of when the student is ready, the right master appears apparently.So yes a tiny book but it sparked her imagination and has hopefully set her on the first steps to wealth. I so wish I had had access to this information at that age (14). Thank you Mr Kiyosaki.

My son was really captured by this book, and as I read the original, rich dad, poor dad, it meant it was so good to be able to discuss. And the exercises are great

Tiny little book the size of your credit card with little valuable content compared to the normal book Rich Dad Poor Dad. If I gave this to a teenager I don't think they would get any value from it as the content is so think that it looses it's impact. I think they would be even more put off working on their finances! In my view, we have a limited chance to get a teenager to read a book about finance and to shift their perspective, so it had better be good and hit the mark! I wouldn't waste my chance on this tiny book but would actually encourage them to read the full Rich Dad Poor Dad book instead. It may be more difficult but at least content-wise it will have a chance to make an mind-shift in their way of thinking.

It is a good book and my son said it is useful, but he was disappointed by the size as it didn't state clearly in the title that it was a mini version and so he was expecting a full size version!!

It's a great little pocket book for anyone. I know it says for Teens, but it will be a starting point for anyone who hasn't got a clue. Personally, I loved it. Being a Money Literacy Educator for Kids, I gave the book to my 14-year old daughter to read and asked for a quick review from her. In her words, "mummy, it's really good, but it would be better if there were more money stories of adults and children". I asked her why so? In her words, "it will show how easy it is to do these things". My daughter does not represent every teenager, but her suggestion is worth noting.

Just so people don’t make the same mistake as I did, the hardcover is the size of the palm of your hand 🤡If this is what you were after, the book is fine with no issues 😂

Perfect Pocket size book for a teenager to put in her school bag or back pack. Valuable information to teach kids from a young age. Schools do not teach any child about money. Best book I have ever invested in to buy for my teenage daughter and she drank in every word of it. Small little book to re-edit the subconciouse mind and plant the seed of success and abundance.

This book has taught me so much valuable lessons and is not boring to read as if it was another book
