Q: what is gum solution that the box says is needed?

Not sure, but I've used these glazes for the last year and have been very happy with them. They brush on or pour on very nicely. Adding a few drops of water to ease drip application has not hurt them in any way. No gum solution needed.

Q: Why won't this product ship to my address? I live in Australia. Can Amaco Glazes be shipped to Australia? Thankyou

Amaco glazes r designed to go to cone 10 in electric kiln. Check with amaco directly about gas fired cone 9/10 reduction

Q: Are the glazes non-toxic and/or food safe?

Jennifer - my kiln did not fire hot enough for these glazes. I misread the cone temp when I bought this pack. The package does state that these are non-toxic and lead free so I would say yes they are food safe - but only if you have the right kiln. Hope that helps.
