Q: Can it be cut into two? I only need 250 mcg portions. Thanks.

If any pill/vitamin/tablet is not scored (line down the middle), it is not meant to be cut. It means that the medication in the tablet could be concentrated on one side or distributed throughout the tablet. Only a SCORED tablet can be cut in half, knowing that 1/2 of the medication contained is in each half. Other than that, there is no way of knowing how much medication is in each part of the tablet. Remember, there are fillers and binding agents that take up space in the pill, too.
