What are the ingredients of kitty rade? not the nutrients...the actual ingredients? what flavor is it? what foods are in the ingredients?

Water, Hydrolyzed Chicken Liver (source of chicken flavor), Dextrose, Glysine, L-Glutamic Acid, Xanthan Gum, Salt (Sodium Chloride), Potassium Chloride, Fructooligosaccharide, Taurine, Mono-sodium Phosphate, Phosphoric Acid. My 6 cats won't drink this BUT I have a 19-year-old skinny cat on thyroid medicine (Felimazole) who eats, but not enough so I've been syringing him by mouth for the last 8 months. I've experimented with several concoctions to thin the food enough to orally syringe it (bone broth) until I found Kittyrade. Every day I mix a 5.5 oz. can (and more)of Purrfect Bistro chicken (very little grit to block the syringe and my cat likes it) 1 capsule of Cosequin, a pack of Fortiflora, and a heaping teaspoon of Under the Weather Ready Cal, and I dilute it all with Kittyrade to liquify it. My cat was frail and unable to jump on the counter (his favorite place) until I reached this recipe with Kittyrade and now, he can jump on a box and then on the counter. He likes that he can get to his place, and I've noticed a change in his energy levels and a slight increase in weight (which we want). I showed my vet all the food ingredients I’m using and although she said she never heard of Kittyrade, she liked the ingredients because it contains electrolytes which my cat needs since she said his kidneys are shot and cannot store electrolytes. She said there are other mixes on the market but I’m sticking with Kittyrade since it seems like the Kittyrade mix has a little extra something that's giving my old kitty a happier life. Why do you have to discard after 3 days? Does it go bad?

Our products go through a pasteurization process, all bacteria are killed so there is a fantastic opportunity for bacteria present in the air to grow quickly. It's safe to say a maximum of 3 days but there have been some that have kept the product in the fridge for almost a week without any issues. I hope this helps, if not please let us know.
