Stella & Chewy'sRaw Coated Whitefish Recipe Dog Food 3.5Lb

Refuse to buy another other than this brand for my 10-pound chihuahua mix. She’s getting older and maintaining a healthy weight is important. This does the trick!

My dog loves this dog food! And Luckily it always ships promptly .

Let me start by explaining I converted to Stella and Chewy products only 7 months ago. This brand offers multiple recipes that appear to be almost identical. However, at least for my 4 year old Maltese/Yorkie, the slight variations in recipes make a big difference.The price is more than I am used to spending on dog food, but I think the benefits save me time and energy. The raw coated kibble beef recipe works so well for my dog - it calmed his finicky gastrointestinal system and allergy/infection prone ears after just a couple weeks…and within a month of feeding our dog this recipe he seemed to be in optimal health (reducing vet appointments = back end savings).Unfortunately, the pet store I typically purchase this food from has not maintained the most consistent stock, so a few times over the past 7 months I had to get one of the other red meat recipe variations. Despite the ingredients seemingly very similar, changing my dog’s food drastically upset his system - each time resulted in vomiting, diarrhea, and itchy ears almost immediately after subbing a different Stella and Chewy recipe to for the raw coated beef kibble.So, finally, I looked it up on Amazon. I am relieved to see they do sell our preferred recipe and it was in stock - it’s a larger bag than I usually buy (10 lbs. vs 3.5 lbs.), but, as long as the food stays “fresh” (my 11 lb dog doesn’t go through food very fast) and reduces the need to change his food, then buying our preferred Stella and Chewy Raw Coated Beef Kibble Recipe from Amazon will be a win-win!If I find that something changes in the future with the recipe or availability, I will update this review.

Only food I purchase for my 90lb lab/american bull dog mix. He has a black coat and is extremely shiny. No skin issues as all. This has been then only food he has been able to eat without having loose stool.

Wow! My puppy started asking for this food before I even opened the Amazon package. She ate the entire plate right away.

So thankful we tried this for my older, very sick and weak dog. She was getting so thin and wasn't interested in eating, but she needed nutrition to gain strength back. She would perk up and eat this food! What a blessing it was and really helped her through a difficult time. Now we use it as treats for our dogs to supplement their diet.
