EternaBond RSW-6-50 RoofSeal Sealant Tape is a 6-inch by 50-foot waterproof vinyl tape designed for outdoor roofing applications. Its UV-resistant surface and high elongation factor allow it to expand and contract with changing weather, while the silicone liner prevents premature adhesion. Very durable
I’ve had this stuff on the roof of my rv for 3 years & good so far. Being full time my rv is outside only. I used the wider sizes because of coverage area & found them very easy to apply without any wrinkles. It also folded down along edges & stayed put. Happy so far.

Works great!!
I have a rubber roof on my RV. There was a leak that required me to pull back the rubber material about 4 feet, so that is a 4x8 section. I cut the front and two sides and peeled back the roof, repaired the leak and wood damage, applied new adhesive to the rubber and wood and laid it all back down. I used this to cover the three cuts I had to make to pull the roof back.Make sure you apply pressure to every square inch of this product to insure adhesion. Using a small hand roller is best. Once it is down....it is down and not coming off without substantial effort and making a mess. It certainly will not come off by accident or while driving down the road. Why it got 4 instead of 5 stars: The only complaint I have it that the adhesive material is grey while the backing is white (To match most RV roofs). When you apply pressure to the edge of the tape, where it is most critical to hold and seal out water, the grey adhesive smears out of the side and is unsightly. That's not too big of a deal on the roof itself as it is not visible from the ground, but when you use this material where it is visible, such as where the rubber roof curves to meet the side of the RV, it is a bit ugly and dirty looking.

Best stuff to put on the seams of your camper or anywhere
Great product and worked perfectly as it is designed to do. Been on the camper for over a year now and the durability is top notch. Easy to install and very clean look if you do it right. Would definitely recommend if you’re worried about the seams on your camper roof or anything else you want to keep from leaking.

Keep a spare roll of this handy in your RV!!
I have a 36 Winnebago Suncruiser with a white fiber glass roof. Last year an 18" section of the roof edge separated out of the J channel side rail, where the fiberglass roof sheeting tucks into. Like this...//| || | |\__/I needed some way to glue the edge of the roof back down and tuck it back into the side rail.White EternaBond worked magnificently! I followed a YouTube instruction video on how to use EternaBond to fix this problem. I cut a short section of the EternaBond and slid it up under the section that had come out of the J channel, side rail, leaving about an 1/4 inch sticking out from under the edge of the fiberglass roof, which I then folded over the lip of the fiberglass sheet, and stuck it down along the outside edge of the fiberglass roof sheeting. I then pressed the edge of the fiberglass roof sheeting back down into the J channel. To ensure it stayed in place over night, I secured it down with a strip of Duct Tape. The next day I removed the duct tape. The roof was securely glued back down, into the J channel. I then ran a bead of white silicone sealer along the whole J channel where the fiberglass sheeting was tucked into the J channel to ensure the whole J channel/fiberglass roof sheeting was sealed. After a brutal winter of sitting in a storage lot, I inspected the roof where I had repaired it. It looked as good as the day I repaired it.Great product!UPDATE TO REVIEW: I couldn't find a link to the original video I followed. I've added two drawings, a DO THIS and a DON'T DO THIS. Follow the DO THIS sketch on how to place the EternaBond. Use a narrow strip, maybe an inch wide. After pressing the roof edge back down into the J channel, with the narrow strip of EternaBond wrapped over the edge, run a strip of silicone sealer on the outside of the joint.

No more rain inside the RV!
It finally rained here so that I could provide a solid review. 100% resolved the raining inside the RV through the big skylight. I pre-cut measured strips for each side of the skylight allowing for overlap at the corners. I actually didn't manage to get a solid flat surface between the roof and skylight, but was able to use a roller to push the tape into the areas that had "channels" that could cause adhesion issues. I actually did not have tents or folds, pretty sure that was luck and because the strips were short not entire length of the RV.I read previous reviews along with tips and tricks to make sure I applied the tape correctly the first time. The big skylight on our RV, I think 99% of RV's have at least one of those giant bubble skylights right? Anyway, I seem to always have the leaky one and no amount of caulk (thank you spouse for trying) or leveling/non-leveling lap sealant seemed to keep it from raining in our RV. I researched other possible fixes and settled on EternaBond as the next step based on the positive reviews. After the welcome unexpected August rain I am happy that I did.In addition the tape arrived 24 hours sooner than expected. I love being in a get it same day area, even when one does not take advantage items arrive so fast. :)It was packaged well in my opinion and was exactly what I expected. It is white "tape" with a gray sticks to everything side. If you don't want white showing on your RV don't use it. If you don't want a little bit of that gray sticky stuff sticking out looking a tad dirty, don't buy it. Live with the water leaking in and then purchase an entire roof replacement. ;)I will be using EternaBond to seal down our rubber roof seam that is now pulling away as the old butyl tape crumbles away.
