Great novelisation! Adds depth which was not included in the movie, making what occurred in the movie more understandable. Much better ending aswell wish they included that in the movie!Well written book!

Halloween Ends
This is what we wanted from the film. Obviously the story they had here was too big for a 2 hour movie, so cuts had to be made, but I’m glad this book went to the places it did without just being a page-to-screen copy.

The End of it All
I’ve been waiting in anticipation to read this since I pre-ordered it. I’ve been an avid fan of the original two films since I was a young teen. The release of Halloween (2018) re-wrote the storyline after the original 1978 film, removing the original Halloween II and subsequent movies from the Michael Myers timeline. Now the “canon” is Halloween (1978), Halloween (2018), Halloween Kills (2021) and this one, Halloween Ends (2022).Not wanting to give any spoilers, the way Michael is disposed of at the end of this book (I’ve not seen the movie yet) seemed the only logical way to end him.The Halloween Ends story is a good one, though I did feel some disappointment with the sub-plot. One mystery remains, and that is why Michael became the way he did, starting from the age of six. Perhaps a prequel could one day be written explaining this.I think Halloween fans will like this book/movie. I certainly enjoyed the new canon. I think it was time to end this series. Hopefully most will be happy with how it all finishes. The book is well-written and is, on the whole, fast-paced, though it did start to slow in the middle. However, it soon picked up pace again.Goodbye Michael.

No way, just... no.
I’ve been so excited about this since Kills came out last year, or even since the trilogy started in 2018! I pre-ordered it on Kindle back in April! I’m very sorry to say, today when the release date finally came, I was left feeling so sad and very disappointed. If this is the end, it’s a terrible anti-climax. The novel only had 2 quotes that I really liked. “Imagine if Laurie and Michael Myers had fallen in love and were together, can you imagine?” and “Alexa, music off.” That’s it. Also the stupid theory that Laurie rejected Michael’s advances until he snapped. Great food for us Fanfiction writers though! I want to be careful writing this for two reasons Firstly so as not to spoil it for you reading this, or considering doing so, second however, so it doesn't descend into a rant. Firstly, for the last 40 years, it's been Michael Myers, and Michael Myers only. You can't just bring a new protagonist in to replace him like that! The ending just left me speechless. After all Laurie went through, there is no way she would even consider that! After everything since 1978, her whole shut down due to fear and her house modifications? You're kidding me! I think this was a case of Michael killed everyone in Halloween kills, so there was no one left and the directors had to work with what they had, as well as introducing new characters. Now I'm all for new characters, but for them to dominate the plot like that? All we saw was a controlling mother, and a pointless love story. Alison to me, slipped back into naive teenager mode. Laurie's memoirs were interesting, which made the end even more unbelievable. Michael Myers will always be my favourite horror character and after this I'm disgusted! Michael Myers, we love you. Just some advice, if you want to remember Michael Myers as he should be, I really wouldn't read this book! I am not going to see the film of this… left a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry Green, total failure here.

An OK adaptation of a fresh, daring Halloween movie.
This is a very by the numbers adaptation of the movie script, but definitely worth a read if you enjoyed the movie.

Incredible Read!
I pre-ordered this as soon as pre-orders went live, it arrived 2 weeks earlier than it's estimated delivery date, I am currently on pg287 out of 365 and I am loving it, it explains more of what the film didn't such as how Michael manages to get away after Halloween Kills.
