Q: Are these 100% biodegradable/compostable (all wheat straw) or are they made with some percentage of plastic such as PP Polypropylene?

The product is a mixture of wheat straw and PP plastic, wheat straw is natural, PP is harmless, you can rest assured to use, can not be completely made from wheat straw because the wheat straw can not be stably formed and easily damaged, so we use a special process to make it more stable. The diameter of the top of this reusable cup is 3 inches.

Q: Do these have melamine in them?

I have no idea. It doesn't say so on the bottom of the cup. It's been awhile since I got them, so I don't remember the description. I don't remember them saying it did and they don't feel like melamine, though that probably is not a good way to tell. All the melamine I've seen says to not put them in the microwave. These don't say that, but they also don't indicate they are microwave safe.
