Great bulb. Same as my original!
This is the exact replacement bulb I needed for my 18 year old desk lamp. The bulb is a perfect fit along with light output and light color. I feel like my old bulb never burned out.I highly this reccomend this bulb.

Bulb does not snap into socket
This bulb will NOT pop into the socket of my Ottlite. The package came with two and the first bulb I tried to pop into the socket, I had to use a lot of force to even get the bulb to light, but it would not pop in. The bulb flew out of the socket to the floor under the pressure I was having to use to get it in. Because the bulb broke when it hit the floor, I cannot return it, so this is a ~$20 loss for me and still not able to use the Ottlite floorlamp. There's no doubt it's the correct bulb, it looks like it SHOULD fit, but just will not pop into the socket. The 4 pins are correct as are the cutouts in the socket. It's off by millimeters.
