After buying 5 different brands with 5 different promises of elasticity, compression, and durability all disappointing I tried Medline. Bought smaller size than usual just because i was getting desperate for real compression.This is the product for comfortable compression. One layer is tighter than any other I've tried. One layer of 2in diameter was very tight compression on my knee (200lb male) while a double-layer over my calf & foot worked best to keep swelling down. These could easily replace compression socks & bonus: works with flip flops! Double up on layers where you need it tighter. I recommend 2in for most applications.Nice thickness, great quality weave, better than all the others except maybe the tubigrip at the doctor's (tubigrip on here was useless). These tubular bandages have been a boon to my wound care routine. I have diabetic ulcers on my legs, and I use these to secure the pads over my wounds, as well as provide some pressure for the swelling in my legs. The material is strong enough to be sewn on a small sewing machine to make basic socks out of them for convenience of application and smoother pad changes. Will usually last a month before I have to make more socks out of them, so it saves me time/money on wrapping my legs with each change. NOTE: you have to gauge for yourself what width to get for the amount of pressure you want to get out of these bandages. Too wide and it won't work well for securing pads or providing a good squeeze; too narrow and they will be too hard to slip on and you could cut off your circulation to the effected area.

This tubular stocking is made of a very good material. It’s the perfect thickness and fits great under my compression bandages. I’ve since purchased it a second time and will buy again when this one runs out. It feels nice on your skin. Very soft.

It’s ok but not strong enough to keep the swelling down.

This product is perfect. I originally bought the 2 inch...Too Much Compression. "My Fault" But the 4 inch is just perfect. This product is going to be used as a "Safety Feature". I currently work with a group of women who are cooking with very hot pans. Their arms are being burnt multiple times during a shift, from simply touching their forearm on the edge of a hot pan. A needless injury! A simple 12 inch piece, from the wrist to the elbow, will give them ample protection. Not to mention peace of mind. The product is 100 percent Cotton, soft, breathable, and washable. Having used it for many years in the medical field, I'm thrilled to think out of the box and give it yet another purpose!
