KOH-I-NOOR Mondeluz Grey Line Aquarell Coloured Pencils (Set of 12)

Excellent!

I needed to add more gray pencils and this has a variety of colors, just what I was looking for. I ended up buying 3 of them so that I won't run out for awhile.

This is a lovely set of pencils. I don't know how Koh-I-Noor manages to be priced so reasonably and have such an excellent quality of art supplies. There is a lot of pigment, it dissolves completely, the pencils sharpen easily and do not break. I would put the quality of this pencil to be the quality of Derwent watercolor pencils, which is very good (and more expensive). The only other brand I have is Caran d'Ache Museum Aquarelles. I would not say that it is quite up to those, but the price of those is, you know, astronomical.The way that Koh-i-noor breaks up their sets is also very nice. You cannot get any other kind of pencil sets where they sell separate greys. You generally have to buy the most complete set in order to get more than one or two grays-Faber-Castell Albrecht Durer, for instance, only has its twelve greys in the complete set of all the pencils (which costs $160). Greys are very useful for painting and not that easy to mix with the colors you get in most smaller watercolor pencil sets (generally very bright). So it is useful to be able to get this set. And most of the greys in it are not included in the largest Mondeluz set (which is not pricey), so if I decide to get that, I won't have repeats.Note: The cold greys are bluish, the warm ones are almost like the Prisma French greys.

These are wonderful pencils so smooth great coverage

These colored pencils are not what I thought, they are not in shades of black, there are some warm and cool colors mixed with them..I was very disappointed, and the pencils were dry and hurt my wrist and produce a lots of dust..and some of them are similar colors (repeated)..I received the packaging worn out and bad as if I bought it from Cheap shop on the street where the dust and the heat !..sorry I wasn’t interested in taking pictures of them..I I donated them immediately

Not only are they very poor quality IMO but when a box of pencils arrives thrashed, there is little doubt as to the integrity of the core remaining intact.
