when you slid the bag holder open see if its in there. Try taking the top of a sharp pen cover and see if it fit into the hole of vacuum if it does hacksaw end off and slide in and put a hose on the other end . you just need to come up with a quick fitting piece to get the hose on. walk into lowes with the unit and see if theres a hose that will fit into the hole tight , there ya go .

You need Fluval ProVac Dual Density Filter Pads. They are presently out of stock at the manufacturer. I found them on eBay.

How are you able to clean the bottom of your 125 gallon tank without an extension on this product? I have the same size tank but if I go to the bottom without a water change the entire unit would be underwater???
