Nicely made, great price
I bought this reel seat for a purpose other than fishing, but I still need it to hold a Penn 320GT2 LC reel. If you are mounting a reel larger than this one, you might not get the mounting ears on the reel to fit, but it managed to accommodate the Penn. The machine work and finish are fantastic on this reel seat, and I think it will provide years of service. Oh, for the curious out there: I am using the reel seat and reel to lower and raise a pressure recording device into and out of drill rods to check water levels on relatively deep (>1,000') water exploration drill holes!

Great little tool!
It is a neat little attachment that can save $100s. Insted of buying the whole kit. you just attach this the you can put any reel on.

5 stars... If it had directions!
This reel seat definitely does the job. Although it was a bit of a pain to get the reel perfectly straight. It would've been less confusing if it would have came with some directions. I wasn't able to get the reel to sit straight while also tight in the stabilizer threads. I spent about an hour figuring it out. So here, I'll post some directions.1. Thread the mount about halfway into your stabilizer threads until you have the inserts for your reel at the top aligned. You only want it halfway so your reel button doesn't touch your fingers while holding your bow.2. There should be two nuts on the thread. Separate them and loosely tighten one towards the reel. Once again, loosely tighten the second one towards the bow. There should be about a cm gap between the two nuts.3. Take two wrenches or vice grips or one of each, whatever works. And tighten the nuts, in opposite directions, at the same time while keeping your reel mount straight. This will allow you to get a really snug fit.4. Place your reel into the mount. Hand tighten the two threaded rings up to the insert. Make sure your reel is nice and snug. Grab your vice grip and crank the rings in as far as they will go.5. For extra sturdiness I then took my vice grip and bent the front reel insert snug around the reel. The reel still slides out fine with a small amount of force... Much better than having a loose reel moving around. All in all, this is a great low price reel mount. Just make sure you buy a bowfishing pole tip to insert into the front of the mount and you'll be set! Looks absolutely fabulous on my Cajun Sucker Punch. I highly recommend this setup over the AMS Retriever if you're an experienced bowfisher. Its reeling is just much, much faster... And cheaper, can't beat that!Good luck and shoot straight!

and is easily bent causing the reel to loosen up
It works ok, but the metal used to hold the reel is quite thin, and is easily bent causing the reel to loosen up. Other than that it's not bad

As advertised
Attached to an old Jennings in the stock mounting hole and attached the Shakespeare Synergy Ti20 to the post. Seems to hold snug and after several practice shots the reel didn't fall out and seems to hold.

Don't Waste Your Money
Bought 2 of these to mount Zebco 808s on my bow and my son's. Although the one I mounted on my PSE works, sort of, it is nearly impossible to get both the reel tight and aligned, and get it tight enough in the stabilizer mount to not turn. The other one arrived missing a nut....OK, no big deal we figured, we'd get one at the local hardware store or specialized bolt and screw company. Guess what? Neither place had a matching nut, it is a very uncommon threading. So, after wasting our time on this, I figure that we'll just return it...nope, time expired. Going to order a couple of good quality ones from backwateroutdoors.com this week.
