its a soild slip lead that locks in place, so my dog doesnt choke n doesnt escape easily. no compaints, its sturdy n thick n the perfect length. Why did you pick this product vs others?:this was the better option over others instead of fany colors this is afficent with a refective spial to help at night.

I usually use a prong collar. My dog is strong and reactive. Today, I used the leash and was amazing on much less pulling i had to deal with. Easy to use on mild corrections.. And she was actually clamer on the walk. Wasnt as reactive to barking dogs. The leash is Super easy to put on, even when using the feature of putting it over the nose. Although it is stiffer then other leashes, it works for me. I think you just have make sure you get the right length. Which I did. It is also thicker then most, which i felt more secure knowing how strong and well made it is.

Our dog trainer told us to get a slip leash, and this is what I purchased, she was really happy with the quality and the fact that it had a stopper so the leash could only get so tight. Seems to work well for what it is intended to do. The Trainer wanted a thicker slip leash, and this is pretty thick and long. It is helping us train our huge puppy.

This is the best tug-of-war/chew rope dad has ever bought.I'm giving this four stars based on the superb design and construction, with a small ding for material type. I think for 99% of dog owners out there who are dedicated to training their dogs into well behaved members of the family, this is a great lead in responsible hands, and very likely a 5 star product for most folks.Part of the excellent design, is a safety ring, which prevents over-tightening, something I wish my current go-to had, along with a leather "stop" to prevent the lead from becoming lose and allowing smart puppers from backing out.My 1 star deduction: I did find the lead material a little "slick". Even with it positioned at high neck, Powder was able to pull enough when breaking his heel, to slide it in my hands. This made the correction sloppy. I found myself having to focus on really gripping the lead to prevent the slip and that of course resulted in a pretty stiff arm, which is the opposite of what I'd like. You can give the lead a single wrap around your hand to prevent the slip, I'd just prefer not to do that.Training side note: Powder is a 70lb Husky mix, and like most of them, is a hard and heavy puller. Putting him in a harness would be the short path to getting flopped over and dragged through the dirt. He's also displayed severe leash anxiety at odd times and I suspect a lack of training from his original owners. So, I was a little nervous about the initial introduction to this, but to my surprise he took to this lead straight away. Zero anxiety, and I was able to bring him into a pretty relaxed heel very quickly. If you have a "puller", I think this lead is definitely worth testing.

This leash is worth the money, it's a great quality leash. Its very easy to use and comfortable for my dog. Its very thick and durable. The handle is comfortable to use. My husband is very picky, but this leash has been husband approved. He likes the ease of use and the small leather loop that locks the leash in place. Great buy for any dog owner. 🐕

Love it. Bought 1 for each of my pups. Work great. They have a comfortable grip, they are long enough without being too long. Heavy duty material, a little stiff at first but looses up and is more pliable after a few uses. Great value for the money.

The material is soft for your hands, but strong. The design is simple and does exactly what it should do. You can easily slip it over your dog's neck and start walking. I often use it instead of my dog's leash; it's just easier. The lead helps you handle your dog and is gentle. Securely and well made. A great product.
