Q: Does this have the same purpose as the fall/winter and spring/summer products? When would you use this product, or would you use them both together?

I'm not sure. Our feature is about 250 gallons with 7 good sized fish. I start using the product in the spring, through the summer and into the fall. I stop using it when it gets cool enough to stop feedin the fish. Since we live in the Seattle area the pond does not freeze over in the winter and I don't use any winter produces in the water. Some of our gold fish have been around since 2001.

Q: What is the difference between this product and Microbe-lift Sludge Away?

Sludge away product is formulated for reducing the amount of organic debris that settles to the bottom of the pond. The PL product is designed to remove ammonia, nitrates, and other toxins from the water that are produced by fish waste and decaying organic debris.

Q: Do I add to the waterfall reservoir ( bags filled with lava rock) or the pond itself? Thanks

Q: Can this be used in a pool for swimming?

It can be used for a swimming pool as long as chlorine is not used as sanitizer. There are two concerns in using beneficial bacteria in a swimming pool: 1. Chlorine will kill the beneficial bacteria. 2. And swimming pools traditionally use a type of filter that works best with chemicals (chlorine).
