Q: Can i use cat7 ethernet cables for this system ?

Cat7 is in an "oddball" position. I cannot think of a legitimate use for it at home when considering the broad compatibility of CAT6/6A and overall approval & certification by standards committees like the TIA/EIA. These cameras will not push 100mbit of data, period, neither are they compatible with 10GBASE-T. In English - using a higher spec cable where the devices on both ends (i.e. the cameras and the NVR) are not able to take advantage of it, is purely a waste of money. I'd argue that for these cameras, CAT5 is more than sufficient as a long-term investment for PoE-type cameras. The quality of the cable is going to matter more than the "Category" the cable is intended to support. If you use quality parts end-to-end, CAT5 is fine. If you plan on use 10G/100G, save it for interlinks between switches. That's really where the use-cases exist for CAT6/7/8 anyway. In 2019, there still is no real push in the home for 2.5G/5G/10G, not in cable/fiber modems, consumer-level switches, and certainly not your TV, Roku, or Xbox. My point is save your $ you aren't future proofing by using a higher CAT cable. CAT5/5E/6 is more than enough in 2019 and the foreseeable decade or so.

Yes, you can either view it from another PC on your LAN, or you can also install the free Reolink app on your mobile device and view the cameras from off site. There is also a subscription-based service where you can store your video to the cloud and view it from a browser.

Q: What FPS do these record at?

Hi, these cameras record 25fps.

Q: I’ve noticed most pictures showing these cameras to be mounted horizontally. Can these cameras be mounted vertically?

I have 2 mounted vertically and there are settings to mirror and invert the image if necessary. Also, the cameras themselves mount so that you have almost complete control with their orientation, aiming, angles, etc.
