To set expectations I'm not a spiritual person. I bought this because I do believe in the power of sound. I'd seen a few videos of bowls like these and really loved the sound. It's so relaxing. I decided to get one but I prefer lower tones. Lower tones require larger bowls and larger bowls are more expensive. I was trying not to invest too much for something I still had some reservations about since I'd never heard one in person. When I received this bowl I was very impressed. It definitely looks hand made. The cushion, stick, and mallet are nice. I completely fell in love when I struck the side the first time with the stick. It's such a nice calming tone. One thing I didn't know until I tried it, is these bowls can play two sounds simultaneously. If you strike the side with the soft head of the stick or rub the rim with the mallet it will produce its lower tones. If you strike the rim with the handle of the stick or wood of the mallet, it will ring like a bell in higher tones. Doing that one after the other will produce both at the same time. I have found it produces the best sound in my hand. Striking it while it's on the cushion produces a rattle sound that's unpleasant. I'm very happy I bought this. I'm a generally calm person but I believe this helps sooth my soul and produces a bit of joy every time I use it.

I wasn't sure if I made a big mistake purchasing a bowl this large for this price. I am not disappointed. It's simple and elegant looking , the ring pillow is beautifully crafted as well.I have noticed that the pillow muffles the sound , so I get much better tones holding it in my hand.The sound is so peaceful , I have been doing little sound baths for my Heeler puppy and he actually calms down and relaxes.

I'm really happy with this purchase. I have purchased one other bowl in the past of a smaller size and I would say lesser quality. The tone of this bowl sustains for quite a long time and the two striking mallets work well. There were a few spots of mildew on the leather of one of the mallets, presumeably from being in a warehouse, but I used a bit of rubbing alcohol and it cleaned nicely. The whole kit was super well packaged and arrived very quickly in great condition. Thank you.

The media could not be loaded. I am sending this video to compare this middle bowl purchased from Amazon with two others. Someone was wondering if the middle one is bronze. I know for sure the one on the right is bronze. Il not sure about the one on the left but I think it is brass. I do think the middle bowl is bronze but am not positive. It is listed as metal and bronze in the description.Previous review: I like the look of the bowl overall and it is nice and heavy. The inside edges were rolled over in some areas and in some areas were smooth. The inside of the bowl had what looks like a burn mark towards the bottom—about the size of a quarter. The bowl has a nice tone when struck, but barely any tone when stirring around the rim to make it sing. I would not gift it, but it will do for me for the price. I may have been expecting more than I would get for this price and that’s why I’m not returning it. I am willing to write a new review if I find out additional information about the crafting of the bowl. I have not contacted the sellers.

I have severe rheumatoid and osteoarthritis and this bowl helps with my pain. The vibrations seem to give a massage from the inside out. I have a stainless steel rod in my left upper arm and when I hold the bowl in my left hand, the vibrations travel up the arm and sooth it wonderfully. I use it for meditation and in my yoga practice as well. I also have an adult autistic son and when he is agitated, I have him play the bowl and it calms him faster than his meds. I love it! Best $200 ever spent! I watched videos on YouTube to find out which size caused each sound to know what resonated with me the best.

I like the sound when using the black Mallot. I don’t use the red mallot and I don’t use it to sing but I do like the sound when it is tapped
