Q: I have other rechargeable Lithium batteries,, can I use the same charger with these batteries?

We recommend to use Hixon original aa/aaa rechargeable battery charger to charge this battery. our battery have the built-in smart IC to control charge.They need constant 5v/500mAh input to charge,Hixon Q022 4-slot AA/AAA battery charger can provide constant 5v/500mAh output for each slot.To ensure the safety for you and the battery ,choosing the original charger is right,if you have other charger with constant 5v/500mAh output,is also ok

Q: Are these batteries leak resistant?

I do not know about these lithium rechargeables, but folks stating that rechargeables (of any type) never leak are 100% wrong. I have experienced leaky NIMHs from several different brands for years. They may not leak until they are getting old, but leak they most definitely will. And it isn't pretty. I HOPE that lithiums do not leak, but I've used various types for years (as have most people with portable devices), and they can start gassing. I've not seen this in the AA, AAA, etc packages, but I don't know why they would not. If they are exposed to high heat, are struck or dropped on a hard surface, or otherwise "insulted", they can become very bad citizens and possibly catch fire. So be nice to them, and do not toss them around or handle them roughly. Make sure your kids know this, too!

Q: Will they work in a portable cb radio with 15v charging?

If the batteries that are in your portable CB are 1.5 volts yes they will work. But are you sure your charger is a 15 volt charger or a 1.5 volt charger. You are better off staying with the charger that comes with the batteries it's not that much more to purchase it

Q: My charger max voltage is 4.35v. is this high enough to sufficiently charge these hixon lithium-ion batteries?

Good question because these are NOT 5-volt batteries, and one would think that 4.35 should be high enough to charge them. There are several problems with this logic. There is no known lithium chemistry battery of 1.5 volt. It is always more than 3 volt. In fact, I have some 3.7 v AA batteries. These look to be more useful. So, How is it possible to get 1.5v out of a 3.7v battery? Glad you asked. :) This ain't smoke and mirrors nor magic here. A simple voltage limiter circuit within the battery provides AA battery users with typical AA voltage that remains 1.5v the entire discharge cycle. The problem is NOT just voltage. It's more about the algorithm used as a charge protocol to charge any of the lithium recipe batteries. They charge at a very specific rate and voltage. There are at least 3 (three) flavors of lithium battery in common use out there and they all have different final voltages thus different charge protocols. These here AA batteries are capped internally to only PUT OUT 1.5 Volts, to be used in place of Alkalines (Yay! It's about time!!) but the internal chemistry is at least 3.6 volts. I've learned that it's best to just buy the charger recommend for whatever flavor of lithium battery I am getting.
