These have saved me a fortune!
Great quality and have saved me a fortune on disposable batteries! Have charged a few times and seems to last longer than disposable used to!

Long-lasting D cells — powered my mower beacons all summer
I bought these rechargeable D batteries to power the navigation beacons for my robot lawnmower, aiming to avoid the cost of constantly replacing standard batteries. They’ve performed really well — one charge lasted the entire mowing season without any issues, and they’re still in current use, running for months without a problem.Performance• Strong, steady output — easily powers my mower beacons all summer.• Reliable outdoors: the casing has held up well even after months in the garden. (Photo: battery after summer use)Charging• They take quite a while to fully recharge, but that’s expected given the high capacity.• Once topped up, they’re ready to run for weeks at a time. (Photo: batteries in charger)Pros• Long runtime — lasts for months on one charge• Cost-effective compared to disposable D cells• Durable even in outdoor useCons• Long recharge timeVerdictSolid, dependable D cells that have already saved me money compared to disposables, and still going strong after months in use. Hope this helps if you’re considering them too.(Photo 1: batteries in charger)(Photo 2: single battery after months outdoors — still in good condition)

Hot-dog!, cool him down!
This battery operated fan has been a godsend, found at a trade stand st a dog show, however it’s running cost in batteries (2 D cells) is quite significant. Thanks to Amazon, these EBL rechargeable batteries mean not having to buy any more, also as there are four of them in the pack, the other two can be charged up ready to take over when required. This means the fan is fully portable yet uses charge off the mains to keep it running. Typically, two batteries last from four days to a week depending on use. Milo the dog is happy too!I would like to add that if the batteries are allowed to run completely flat, some chargers indicate that they are defective, I had this with one of mine, I tried pre charging it, then the charger started to charge it ok. To pre charge it, I placed it end to end with a good battery, with the positives touching, then with a multimeter set to dc current range, (I used the 5A range), touch the positive lead to the negetave end of the defective battery, and the negative lead to the negative end of the good battery, and then the multimeter will show the precharging current. On mine I hardly got any reading, but if the defective battery were to be short circuit, the meter would show a high reading, and if necessary, this could be disconnected and the defective battery discarded. I would not recommend using a plane length of wire with no form of current limiter, just in case you ruin the good battery as well!
