I love how this absorbs in my skin and the glow I get from it . I use it over another serum to help penetrate further into the skin since rose hip oil penetrates further into skin . I also use it alone . Quality.

I am in my late 40's with dry sensitive skin made more so by my employment as a swim instructor and coach. I find that my skin reacts very well to oils when applied at night.This oil is boxed and in the boxed is a generously sized amber bottle with a dropper top. I like the tinted glass as it should protect against light damage. The box was not sealed but the bottle does have a plastic ring around the top to identify if it has been tampered with. The dropper was a bit drippy and did make it a little difficult to get a couple drops and not more at one time. The oil is a light golden color and felt a little thin compared to other rose hip oils I have used but not so thin that I thought it might be diluted. It has a nice rose hip fragrance (remember that is different than rose petals) and didn't smell rancid.I did find it a little interesting that the expiration is "six months from date of purchase." Products can sit on a shelf for years so I would have preferred a real date. Also, it has a picture of an American flag but doesn't directly say it was made in the USA. It says made for Total Activation LLC and gives their address, which is in NJ. I did check their website and attempt to contact them but I haven't been able to be certain that it is made in the usa.

I received this Total Activation Brand Rose hip oil unsealed. Both the sticker on the box and the plastic protective seal on the dropper cap were open upon delivery.What a disappointment, I have no way of knowing if it is Rose hip oil in the bottle, or if the previous purchaser replaced it with a different oil and sent it back.

Great for older skin!

This oil is a very good quality and for the price I found it to be a good value...but...the box says to use within 6 months of purchase. Now there is no date on the box or the bottle that I see, so that information is a bit suspect. I could see use within 6 months of opening, or having a best used date on the box or bottle...the lack of transparency left me a bit sour on this product.

This says on the bottle that it absorbs fast, and it does! At first I was not quite sure what to think about the quality...this had the orangish color that I was expecting, but it didn’t have the hint of rose fragrance that some rose hip seed oil has. I immediately thought this smelled like vitamin E oil. After this has been soaking into my skin, to me it smells more like the rose seed Kernel. This does not seem to be rancid, just wasn’t the smell I was expecting. But then again, every brand I’ve ever tried has smelled very different.

With all the mostly positive reviews of this product, I seem to be the exception. I have extremely dry skin, mainly on my face, and am always trying different products to see which works the best. As soon as I put a couple of drops of this on my face, I immediately regretted it. The scent right out of the bottle is, to me, sickening. It eventually did fade but it took about an hour.Although I used the oil sparingly, it never seemed to absorb into my skin. Hours later I could still feel-- and see-- an oily film on my face. Since my skin is so dry, I was surprised and disappointed that it could not absorb this oil.I can't bear the smell, even temporarily, and since it did not help my skin, I will not be using this product. Obviously it's been helpful for others, but this is my true experience.
