Q: What cable would i need to connect this sub to the kef lsx - thanks

you need a RCA Cable, Y Cable/Subwoofer Cable/Audio Cable / 1 x RCA to 2 x RCA. There are in different length to choose from. Also KEF is now advertising a wireless system to link the subwoofer. You can check it out on their website

Yes, it can, the USB offers the same power output for the KW1 Emitter.

Q: What is the mains power watts on standby? how is it switched on? i have kef psw2010 sub which uses 15w on standby - unacceptabe now.

Hello, Thank you for your question to use here at KEF Direct. I am awaiting the exact information from the Head Office. While I wait - in general and by law, we should not use more than 0.5W in standby. Our Subwoofers are activated by incoming signal – if the signal strength is high enough.
