This dryer works really well. It’s not too heavy so you can easily handle using it for thick or long hair. It’s also pretty powerful. The issue is the comb. It’s rubber so its teeth a bending when I use the heat option.

I used to do hair all of the time. My hair dryer recently stopped working! I agreed to do my nephews hair and realized I didn't buy a new dryer. I went to the beauty supply to purchase a new one. I pulled out my phone to look at the reviews for the various dryers. Of Course Amazon products came up. I did not initially opt to look on Amazon, due to me needing the dryer in a day. But as I reviewed the quality of the dyers, I realized the prices in the store were hiked up. I immediately left the store. I got home and did a search for same day dryers. This dryer came up. I read the reviews, but the price was beyond reasonable, and I could get it the same day. Well, low and behold, I got it the same day and it works like a charm. It's super light. I never use the handle exclusively and I tend to hold the barrel. It didn't get hot, despite the heat it produced. It saved the day. Can't wait to use it on my own hair. My nephews hair is super thick, but this little Green Machine was up for the challenge.

Wattage is quite high which is good, and product looks beautiful. Many people have commented that it turns off for several minutes after using. I think this is because the dryer quickly overheats. I’ve managed a work around which is to run the dryer for a few seconds on the cool button before turning off - this cools the internal workings and the dryer no longer just shuts down after using. I’ve had this dryer for a few months and it does have plastic parts coming off. I also think it’s too big (& a bit heavy) to travel with but as a stay at home dryer, it’s fine/ just remember to use the cool button to cool the dryer down before shutting it off or it will take you several minutes of waiting before you can use it again. It’s a little pricey so I would probably go for a 1800 watt for less $ next time.

I’m so glad I didn’t let some of the other reviews persuade by decision on giving this hair dryer a try. The color and price are what first attracted me but when reading some of the comments I almost didn’t get it. The cord is definitely long enough in fact I can’t remember ever having one as long as this one. There’s no problem with where the switches are, it’s easy to hold and dry with ease. I love the fact that you don’t have to hold down the cold button while using it. I am still getting use to the on and off switch that is in the opposite position from my last dryer. Over all, I highly recommend this hair dryer.

Great dryer the black one is the one I purchased is probably the best one due to the material it made out of and when you get the other colors the material is cheaper. The only problem I had was the comb piece the material was cheap plastic and if it gets too hot it will melt.

I bought this dryer like a 3 weeks ago, I used it like 5 times and the comb that should be attached to the front has broken, it split on the 3rd use and as I was using it yesterday it split even furtherI have cheaper dryer from the beauty supply stores that last longer than this…. Need to do way betterUPDATE!!!!…. I had to come here to let it be known NOT TO BUY THIS DRYER after having the dryer for approximately 3 months the dryer has stopped working…. I barely use this dryer because I have more than one dryer and to see it just stop working after 3 months is very disappointing i demand a full refund and I will not stop until Amazon or the seller does something about it

I bought last year a very expensive Dyson hair dryer for about $450. I didn't like it because the cord is very thick to handle to wattage and I don't use all the accessories I got and paid for. I hang my dryer on a holder while drying my hair and heavy cord made Dyson not stay put. So this dryer is more typical in size, power, cord and heat. It has a nice appearance, green, and does the job at a fraction of the price of the Dyson. Don't be sold on the hype about the Dyson. For it this product is what I need.

love the green color and it gets hot to get the job done the body of dryer had no defects came with 3 attachments and a comb. This dryer worked well on my 12 yr old daughter's 4c natural hair. The only thing is I didn't use the comb attachment instead I bought a detangling comb and brush with the dryer and her hair got dry in half the time and had a glossy shine aftter using a good detangling conditioner and a thermal heat hair product
