As per Sanitair's website. The PROFESSIONAL EXTEND® Canister SL3681A is 10 amp and 135 CFM. Perhaps they used to be 12 amps?

Q: How well does it pick up fine cat litter?

The Sanitaire Canister Vacuum picks up cat litter very well, it has great suction when its vacuum bag is empty or not too full. The suction does drop off after using it for a lot of fine dirt. I have found that I prefer a different floor attachment for hard floors with a lot of fine dirt. The original Mity Might vacuum used to come with one that had a boar bristle brush all the way around the floor face. You now need to buy one as an after market upgrade.

The cloth bag that fits this Sanitaire vacuum isn't quite the same as the one that fits the Mighty Mite. Order one for this Sanitaire on Amazon.
