[New Version] PowerCube 4 Outlets Dual USB Port Surge Protector Wall Adapter Power Strip with Resettable Fuse, Cobalt Blue

I can't speak to any functionality of this product as it hasn't been opened, it's a Christmas gift. I purchased this for my Step dad, who is incredibly hard to buy for, but a complete gadget guru. By his recliner he has an extension cord with his plugs and chargers for his phone, iPad and computer. It's a tangled mess and drives my mom absolutely insane.This cube is very innovative. He can mount it directly underneath the table that sits next to his recliner and then plug all his device cords into the Power Cube without having cords everywhere all tangled up. It also has a USB port as well so it serves several purposes.When my mom saw this she said it was the perfect idea for him. Since I can't speak about how the product actually works and only my initial reaction, I will come back and update my review after Christmas.

This is a nice product. It is especially helpful when traveling within the U.S. providing additional outlets in hotel rooms that often hide outlets behind furniture or offer limited outlets on the light base. The USB ports are a great feature, freeing up power ports while still charging devices. I hopefully never have to find out about the surge protection.One negative and the reason it doesn't get five-stars is, the outlets are, sometimes, difficult to insert into. I've not figured out a consistent way in which to plug in without a little bit of force required. Of course, I've noticed this about newer power outlets I installed at home, so could just be a new safety code being met.I will buy additional cubes when the need arises, a great concept well delivered and look forward to what they do next.I purchased this through fourHearts and wouldn't hesitate to purchase from them again.

A truly unique answer to the age old problem of not enough outlets and not enough space for a power strip. It works great and the USB ports seem to really put out a decent charge rate, everything I have plugged into the USB power ports has charged as fast or faster than the original charger that was supplied with the product I'm charging unlike some of these types of devices I have purchased in the past where the charge rate of the USB ports was quite slow. I will definitely make this my new go to device for adding outlets without the hassle of a finding a place for the power strip and it allows you to plug in transformers without wasting two outlets or more as most power strips do. It also seems to be well constructed and I hope it will last a long time.

I love this cube! I can actually plug my hairdryer, iron, and iPhone in at the same time and not worry. It doesn't look obnoxious and doesn't take up a lot of space. I bought two and am glad I did as they're perfect for where I need them. The long surge plugs just do not work in some areas and this is where you'll find these to come in handy. I'm not an electrician and am safety conscious so I unplug one when I'm done but have never felt these getting hot and no breakers have ever been thrown.

This is a beautifully designed little gadget! Well-built and extremely useful. I mainly bought it for my wife--who left her smart phone charger brick on a Virgin American flight. Now she plugs the cord right into the USB port--along with a hair dryer and curler in two of the four electric outlets. This is the third PowerCube that I've purchased. The first is their standard, 5-outlet cube while the second one is a 4-outlet plug with the 10-foot extension cord. Needless to say, I'm sold on the PowerCube!The Amazon company, "fourHeart" did a great job packing the PowerCube and getting it shipped to me in LESS time than promised! I would absolutely use them again.

Works. The power outlets and USB plugs are good to have in the same device.BUT I find it too bulky for me to want to travel with. It would not be usable for tight spaces at home either. I am rating it as 3 stars because of the size only.

This item is well designed, but heavier than I expected it to be. It's clever space saving design promises to allow many more plugs to function in areas where many electrical devices all require the same power outlets. So far, I am very happy with my purchase. ANd it appears to have been created in the Netherlands!

I purchased this in order to meet a minimum purchase requirement. I didn't realize it then, but this has become my favorite outlet extender because it has several places to plug three pronged appliances in along with the ability to charge items that require a usb charging cord all in one neat little package. I like that it has made my plug in station neater and more organized. I can also take it with me to the coffee shop and plug in my phone charger, my laptop cord, my kindle cord and my kindle all at one time without taking up space that my fellow customers can use. Also if you aren't using the top plug, you can lay your phone on the top (I have a Galaxy Note 3 and it has never fallen off)This cube is solidly constructed, not flimsy at all. It has a little heft to it. I am considering purchasing a couple more for the rest of my house, I feel like it would come in handy in the kitchen.
