I have to say, this was an excellent solution to my application.The PC performs like new and so far satisfactory.I am working with a replacement to the one I originally ordered. For some reason after I loaded up the proprietary applications I lost the ability to move the cursor or make any input at all.I contacted the seller. They were immediately on it, helpful, and had my replacement in my hands before the week was over. Which was extraordinary since I was under deadline.My only problem is that, much to my surprise, Panasonic did not include a bar key (“|”) which really makes coding a problem. I don’t need to do coding except for the install of the software I have to adjust the port settings, so the 4 key alternative in Notepad and the C&P to the driver isn’t a big deal, but be forewarned. I guess the worst part has been recalling all the Windows fixes after being on iOS for the last decade 😜Basically I image the biggest issue on your mind would be “do I get a refurb?” And “Is it risky?” Answers: Heck yes & Not in my experience.Highly recommended 👍🏽 Helpful? 👇🏽

this is a well made sturdy computer. the tracking pad works great. i've tried one name brand computer after another and they always have issues with the tracking pad. i travel a lot for work and frequently have laptop issues in spite of being careful with my laptop. the panasonic toughbook is excellent for my needs. when it first arrived the cd / dvd player wasn't working. the company went way far above and beyond to fix the problem with honor and integrity not often seen. this is an excellent laptop for the price and works great.

A really great laptop

Works good and was well packedItem was refurbished and is working good but case scratches and blemishes were covered with aluminum imitation laminated paper (That was not mentioned on the description)

I'm updating my review minus one star, battery only holds a charge for 3 hours now.This is very disappointing.Otherwise everything else is working fine.Bought this for my wife who is rough on most things, especially electronics. I think this will hold up to some abuse. Came with new case, power supply and windows 10 as advertised. There is some minor cosmetic showing it's not brand new, but the key board and mouse pad work like new. Screen is in great shape, haven't noticed any missing pixels anywhere. DVD player is a plus and works great. Sound is a bit low, but for a durable laptop like this, I wouldn't expect anything more than functional. Battery lasts about 6-7 hours with minimal use. Overall I like it, might order one for myself soon.

We purchased the refurbished toughbook for automotive shop use. I was a bit leery about buying a refurb unit due to a prior bad experience with another vendor. The unit arrived in better shape than expected. It arrived quickly and we were impressed with it's functionality and abilities. The real test and most impressive part of the purchase came a few days later when the unit would not boot up. My heart sank,here we go again. We called the tech line and surprisingly a person answered who was knowledgeable and courteous. He apologized for the issue and began instructing my technician how to trouble shoot the problem. Within a few minutes it was determined that a stick of ram was faulty. He instructed my tech to remove the one stick of ram as the unit would function with one of the 8 meg sticks removed. Once that was done the unit started and functioned. The person then promised to ship us a replacement immediately, which he did. The replacement stick arrived within 2 days. That's how service should be. Excellent company to deal with and we are looking forward to purchasing another unit from them. It's nice to see a company care about what they are selling and are willing to stand behind their product. Great job!! Highly recommended.

Purchased this so I can work with some mobility and away from an electrical outlet. Unfortunately this won’t be the situation for this laptop as it needs to be plugged in constantly. Pretty disappointing honestly. As far as the cosmetics there’s no visible damage or anything. But functionality is seriously lacking when a mobile device can’t be used in a mobile fashion. Oh and it’s not touch screen btw. That also sucks.
