I am not certain if it is the handle completely covers any evidence of it being full tang. However, I have had no issues with the athame it feels like it could be full tang to me.

The point is needle sharp....the blade is somewhat sharp.

Q: The description says 10 inches overall, but how long is just the blade?

The blade on my dagger is 5-15/16" long, just shy of 6 inches. It is lovely to look at and makes an impressive ceremonial piece, but that is the limit for this *weapon.* The hilt guard is not very wide, therefore does not offer much protection. I advise extreme caution in handling. If attempting to wear or carry this blade for every day use you should check the laws in your state. This blade has a double edge, making it illegal to carry (at least in my state).I see the comment before me answered with "7 inches" pfft!! If that were true the handle would not fit in his hand, since a 7 inch blade would make the handle only 3 inches.
