Q: What parts are MDF and what parts are wood?

With the exception of the back and the drawer bottoms it's all solid wood. Those are rigid heavy grade pressed board and not visible when assembled and drawers closed

Q: Can the legs be changed? If so, what size bolt/screw is needed?

I think it was a standard 1/4" bolt. It was a hassle to attach the legs that came with it. I was thinking of changing them out to something else to make it look more Queen Anne or even Chinese, because let's face it; Modern is Boring. The chest is luckily well made, solid Pine and not the hardest thing to put together, other than screwing on the legs. Good luck!
