4" X 2" Swivel Casters Heavy Duty Polyurethane Wheel on Steel Hub with Brake 700LB Ea (4) Tool Box

These castors are a heavy duty solution for my Ridgid Job Box which has 3” square hole mounts. However, the hole for one grease fitting in the swivel had not been tapped so there was no fitting there. Also the grease fittings for the wheels are too close to the wheel rim and don’t allow service with a standard grease gun. There were no instructions so it’s not clear if those have been pre-lubricated but I assume they are not since the swivels were not.

I have bought a lot of casters this year and these are really cool. I bought sets of casters ranging in from 20-80 dollars a set and even though these were the most expensive, they seem to be the best value.If even one caster on a piece of furniture goes bad, one has to decommission the piece to fix it or it is not even safe, no point in being cheap These are the most durable and toughest casters I have ever seen. The wheel is solid metal and wide. The tire is urethane, the same as in rollercoaster wheels, they will not crack in the sun or disintegrate over time like some plastic caster wheels. There is a grease fitting on the wheel hub a feature I had not seen before.As far as value, if you divide the load capacity by the price you will find that these casters are a better value than any cheaper unit.

This company stands by their products. I ordered these and found that they were not right for the application intended, but let me tell you,,they were great quality! And when I needed to return them, the company took the return with no hassle.

The wheels LOOK substantial but the grease fittings are in the wrong places and no amount of grease injected will reach the bearings, making the item supported by the wheels very hard to move or change direction.

1 zerk fitting was missing. The holes are not even threaded for the fittings resulting in them being loose. 1 fitting was bent on the wheel. I'm thinking about returning them and purchasing somewhere else. Giving 3 stars because they seem very solid and the locks worked.

Fantastic casters. Be aware that with more weight the harder it is to get the casters to rotate when moving your equipment. These are the most compact casters I’ve found for this wheel size and they are great. The have 3 grease fittings each and are built like a tank. Great product for the price.

There should be 2 grease fittings per caster and when opening the box there were 5 missing and 3 not functional and one caster that didn’t rotate very well. I had to drill and tap 4 casters to accept grease fittings then installed all new ones so they were all the same and tighten the nut on the one caster so it worked properly. They are very heavy duty and will see how they hold up after putting a 1500 pound safe on top of them to move it.

Used the wheels for an outdoor bar. They are perfect
